I'm Sheryl Joy and welcome to my travel blog! I’m a South Indian American by ethnicity, an aspiring Designer/Architect by profession, and a Southerner by birth from Houston, Texas. I found my adventure buddy and got married to the love of my life a little over a year ago. My husband’s job has brought us to our current home in Los Angeles, California and we are loving the West Coast life.

When I’m not traveling, you can catch me enjoying the outdoors whether it be hiking, camping, running, biking, or beach bumming, and designing from Architecture, graphic design, to this blog. I also enjoy dancing, trying new food & local beers, photography, and planning with an attention to detail. I’m always looking for my next adventure. I haven’t been everywhere but it’s on my list!
With this travel blog, I’m telling the story of my adventures as I seek hidden gems, unforgettable natural scenery, and unique experiences. Unfortunately, many people have been affected by the Pandemic and travel plans have been hindered. Thus, the way we travel has changed indefinitely, but it is still possible to safely experience places (2020 being the year of the roadtrip). I will be providing detailed information on trips post-Covid as well as pre-Covid.

Ultimately, I hope this inspires you to get out there and explore! More importantly, I encourage you to take care of this beautiful home we live in. We are just guests in passing and although our time on Earth is limited, we don't have to exhaust all of the Earth's limited resources. So I hope after you experience the World's beauty, you nourish it and don't take it for granted. Learning from different places and cultures allows us to understand people and grow.
